Additional point: I once confronted a Schumer staffer about why Schumer was ok with giving Trump more money for fencing and ICE/cbp without any GOP concessions. Staffer just said it is done for national security. So yes. Dems are willing to give money for the border, irrespective of how the GOP spins it.

Yep.
I'd be curious to know how much they gave in total. In this new proposal, the ask is $20 billion.
Funding parts of the physical wall versus funding the entire wall can make difference between a huge victory for R's versus something that's equivalent to breadcrumbs.

For the record, I don't care if a physical wall is built and if it's done by R's and D's if it means we get a permanent solution. If I think it's realistic and could happen, that's a different story.

All of the above is in regards to a physical barrier, not additional personnel, technology, resources, etc.

Also D's are weak AF.

Well, let’s see if that can be negotiated.

They can go fuck themselves.

If GOP Senators are open to DACA deal in the Senate, it's all we need to get to 60-70 votes.

But again, it's so fluid now cause of the border crisis.

I'm just happy to be back on the rollercoaster.. not

Yes, as long as this border crisis continues, there is not going to be any legislation passing sadly any time soon. As much as I do sympathize with every single person, I think the rest of the 20M odd people already in America living here for decades are going to have to pay the price as well.

The crisis at the border is GOP fear mongering anytime there's election or immigration talk
