perhaps... They are expecting this to ease in the spring and mexico will up their border protection and start taking kids back since the US gave them vaccines. The situation is dynamic and shifting every moment.

Talks could start again soon.

Hold your horses man. Just 1 day after DA passes and a negative article later you throwing your hands in the air?

Call me naive but I haven't seen any writing on the wall yet. GOP using their playbook as usual. No surprises here.

Oh bullshit. The GOP would have came up with some other excuse. They always do.

We would most likely not have a deal, but I do think the GOP would be at the negotiating table. All of what's happening now is most likely acting on the GOP part. They want to highlight a problem and present their solution as the only solution to their voters so they can be seen as the pro-American, heroes and not the party of the insurrectionist.

Dems need to play dirty and hammer the GOP in the insurrection especially in the suburbs. Don't let the change the narrative. Dem needs to label the Republicans as the white national radicalized extremest, the same way the Republicans labeled them socialist.

Well, Dems are too weak to do that. I hate the "They go low, we go high BS"
