Meanwhile UWD thinks we should take care of every single person that crosses the border. lol

I swear I’m losing my mind more and more when I turn on the tv and see another daily caravan.

agree. I would say a majority of them are people from Mexico (also based on anecdotal evidence). The alternative would be that hoardes of ppl from Central America are crossing the entire country of Mexico to get to the US border? Doubt it.

The problem here is that Biden is doing the total opposite of Trump (with no standard/limits on migrants). Because he's stated publicly that children will not be turned away, this is undoubtedly motivating more younger folks to make the solo trip.

Looking at it from the view of US citizens living near the boarder/ Cali etc, based on news interviews, parents and taxpayers in the school system, not super happy about essentially paying for other ppl's children (and the number is rising everyday as these migrant children get placed into those community school systems). Yes everyone deserves an education but I just dont see how the border crossings will ease anytime soon esp. the closer we get to immigration reform (perhaps they see it as a way out for them too-legalization for all of them-NO)?

Wow... UWD pushing for open borders.. a great way to help kill our support.

The border crisis needs to be dealt with even if that means turning away everyone until a better system can be put in place. After trump gutted the process, Biden reopened too quickly without the proper infrastructure in place.

Democrats has always been okay with border security measures. The issue is Republicans won't grant citizenship to those who are already here. Lets say they grant citizenship for people here prior to a certain time period and crack down anyone after this period.

Biden has been in office for 75 days now.

I wonder how far immigration reform will go this year... Next year, everyone is going to be talking about midterms and how risky legislation that compromise reelections will not be voted on. Same shit, different toilet.

This is exactly why we can't have a good bipartisan reform bill and we can't have legalization of Dreamers. Powerful Groups like UWD want everyone to be able to come here no matter what and get "citizenship immediately." This is their strategy to ensure nothing passes. We will never have anything until this organization is put on check. Open borders is not a good thing.

Biden's administration has struck a deal with the central American triangle to have troops placed at each countries border to stem the flow of migrants. Rumor is that is it is the vaccine and cash payments.
