You do know the bipartisan bill DOES NOT have immigration provisions right? The bipartisan (really GOP bill) needs 60 votes, the infrastructure bill (with immigration/climate/etc is the reconciliation (50 vote threshold).

Yes I know that, but the way she is quoted makes it seem like she is saying that if there is claw back on climate in reconciliation, then it’s a no go. Look at the quote.

Explain. I am not clear on whether she will even be ok on the reconciliation bill being watered down on climate.

Most of that stuff is her flexing and Joe Manchin she her pair is bigger than his. She said this in regards to what he said. Dems will internally negotiate something.

Most of this shit is just an act they put on for their voters, you know so they can say "I fought for you"

Because it’s the reconciliation bill. For AOC, it’ll either be a little good or a lot of good. Either way, AOC is gonna vote for it. The bipartisan bill is just a pill she has to swallow to get her priorities (e.g. the reconciliation bill’s goodies).

Understood. she is also assuming the bipartisan bill will get the 60 and make it to the house (?) I don’t think that will happen. Sorry brain mush. So tired of all this shit and any sign of people trying to get in the way.

Agreed. The bipartisan bill may be dead on arrival. And that’s all because of the Republicans.
