"Senate Democrats face a stark choice on immigration: improve the lives of millions of immigrants by giving them a path to legal residency — a move that would also prove a boon to the nation’s economy — or hide behind a procedural recommendation and expose their rhetoric as empty promises.

It shouldn’t be hard to make the right call."

This will not happen. If democrats do anything for immigrant, they will get kill in mid-term election given what's happening at the border right now.

Senator Menendez thinks that the Parliamentarian's decision was flawed.

You need balls to do such a thing.. Very few democrats actually have a pair. Our new best shot is the registry update but odds are not good

lol midterms....they'd be lucky to keep the senate having done fuck all for brown people (immigration), fuck all for black ppl (police/prison/drug reform), fuck all for poor people (reconciliation, minimum wage), and fuck all for democracy loving people (gerrymandering, 4 the ppl's act)

Has Biden "fortified" DACA yet? Have details about that been released yet? Or is he waiting for what deep down we are all waiting for... the final nail in coffin for no immigration reform to pass via reconciliation?

There is no incentive in passing anything for us. People here wasting time analyzing and coming up with theories. This was way too far of a stretch and just for show.
