Job's taken, thank you. Might I suggest car washes? Sure, with winter coming soon the water will be ice cold but the water coming out of the hose is still warmer than the outside air so it gives you a chance to thaw your freezing fingers but using the shammy to dry the cars is where it will suck. But hey it's a cash job. Dishwashing though is an indoor job so you can't just jump into it unless you have connections.

Seriously though, not having a work permit sucks balls. I don't miss washing cars in winter.

The MOST important things to remember today are:
(1) this is just a proposed rule. It is not final, no changes have been made to DACA today.
(2) Your voice is what matters. I will share more info on how to plug into the comment campaign in the coming days. /4
This is really scary to even think about. What are the chances that something like this can happen?

I’m not a Republican (or a democrat) but damn you have to give it up to them. They go all out on immigration no f**cks given and do whatever they please without any fears of backlash or judges.

I wish the Democrats had the same balls, but they rather “take the high road”.

Lmfao the Dems are killing us. This really shows how there's a huge disconnect between our priorities and what they think are our priorities.

For 99% of DACA recipients: the authorization to work and the Social Security card are the only things that matter about DACA. Not protection from deportation.

You take those away and DACA becomes useless to us.

The enforcement of deportation is a joke in the interior of the country. Tell that to the millions of illegals who are living here for billions of years and don't get deported, ever.

If you are illegal here and : 1) you made it out of the border or the airport w/o getting banned 2)you don't commit crimes 3) Live in an immigrant friendly area of the country.

Your risk of deportation is next to zero. You are more likely to catch covid 19 while wearing a mask and having your shots onboard than catching a deportation.

You don't get deported unless you do something dumb like committing a crime or exposing your legal status to snitches and government entities.

This 1,000%!

You summarized my thoughts exactly.

This won’t stop President Trump from killing DACA in 2024.

Yeah that's the thing. Republicans bring a Nuclear bomb to a knife fight when it comes to immigration and do everything humanly possible to stop even a single undocumented person getting any mercy. They've gone after DACA, Expanded DACA, DAPA; they've arrested fathers in front of their children while dropping off the kids at school; put kids in cages, etc. etc. etc.

Democrats try bipartisan methods and aren't willing to push the envelope. DACA was like the most radical thing they ever did.
