Then you keep firing until you get a person who will say yes. There is nothing illegal about doing that. Hell, hire Frank Sherry from America’s Voice as the parliamentarian. It’s not difficult.

Introduce variations of legalization provisions if there is a regulation on ruling 2x on a provision. parliamentarian has already ruled 2x on the overall issue of immigration.

There is no defending dems on this. Really.

That’s a corrupt and authoritarian level move right there and you know it. Doesn’t matter how much the forum clamors that Republicans would do it. What kind of country do you want to live in where abuse of power is cheered? The type like the developing countries our parents fled from?

The road to hell really is paved with good intentions

You don’t even need to fire her. Just thank her for her OPINION, say you disagree and carry on and vote on this thing. The only power she has is what the Dems give her. Her job is to advise !

Not all democrats senators would want to fire her or ignore her. That's the problem. We need all 51 votes.

But overruling the parliamentarian is no different from abolishing the filibuster. Dems don't have the courage to abolish the filibuster, so they won't overrule the parliamentarian.

It's corrupt to hire someone that plays for your team? Well fuck man, maybe I should start fucking hire my competitors to work for me so they can sabotage my businesses. Why the fuck didn't I think about that. I should pay people to fuck up my plans.
