REPORTER: Trump has repeatedly said he wants to help DACA and/or Dreamers. What's the Senate GOP plan to deliver for President Trump?

TUBERVILLE: "We'd have to look at it. I have no clue what area he's talking about [but] people here would listen to that. We would listen. We just gotta see what the text is."

Oh I’m gone for a few months and some of you are back to the same boring tired argument that democrats are as bad if not worse than republicans. I will continue to spit what I’ve been spitting to some of you since day one. Democrats are not the one trying to end Daca. They’re not the ones who have stopped a DA from entering the House. Republicans time and time again have impeded any potential CIR from entering the house. Las time DA had a chance, some 3 democrats voted no. Which somehow is worse than the largest number of republicans votes. If republican cared so much for us they wouldn’t have voted no on them and not be trying to deport us on just being accused

Please explain why you believe it would have been better under her given the circumstances.

I can explain why I believe there will probably be a DACA deal under the Trump Administration. It is worth noting that President Trump has not taken immediate action to end DACA despite having the power to do so.

He has expressed openness to negotiating a deal to preserve the program, as evidenced by the support of Conservative Senators like Rand Paul and Lindsey Graham, as well as recent discussions with John Fetterman.

He will require some form of funding for enforcement or adjustments to other immigration programs in exchange for DACA. This will require Democratic help. While the outcome remains uncertain, these developments suggest positive signs.

You continue to assert that Trump is influenced by fear of his base's opinion, but it is clear that he acts independently and according to his own will. When it comes to him flip-flopping on issues, find me someone who hasn't. It's all part of politics and part of the deal making.

I commend you for considering a plan B, but it is not acceptable to diminish the dreams of others simply because they may not have a backup plan. This behavior displays jealousy rather than support.

Furthermore, if you believe that Democrats will not allow Trump to achieve a victory on immigration relief for us, then it is evident that we are being used as pawns by them. They introduced the Dream Act in 2000, and 25 years later, we are still waiting for a resolution. If that doesn't say anything, I don't know what else will.
I will agree trump doesn’t care what his base thinks anymore. When musk said H1B visas are great, Trump went ahead and agree with him pissing off thousands of of his base. However, pardoning those J6 terrorists quickly made magas forgive him.

There’s no point in arguing Trump is a racist bigot monster. Decades of history of him screwing his business partners and anyone who has ever worked with him should tell us he doesn’t personally care for us whatsoever. With that being said, Trump cannot make us PR even if Musk told him. As we all should by now know only congress can. I don’t know how much influence he has on congress but it seems he has quite a lot of it. The question is. When is Trump going to address us? I suspect it’s going to be right around the time when Daca finally makes its way to the Supreme Court. Last time he ended Daca and he tried to “help” us with his 4 pillar bills that made us into 3rd class citizenship. Then he had a 1 year Daca. Anyone remember that? Whatever help he show us won’t be anything of what we have now. That much is guaranteed.

Some of you desperately need to study his history and past actions and you’ll be able to quickly read his actions. Nothing he has done should surprise anybody. The man wrote it himself “made stupid outrageous demands so what you really want seems more sensible” and he’s been following up on that very clearly.

With that being said. Is Daca ending? Absolutely, even with Harris. Could have Harris instructed USCIS to pass another memorandum as what Daca was? Absolutely. Same with Trump, but why isn’t he? There’s nothing stopping him from telling the Texas court to stop that ruling or tell Paxton to drop his own lawsuit against Daca.

TLDR: we been here before it’s stupid to say it’s different. It’s not and it’s for the worst. Don’t expect anything good from either side. But don’t expect the bad will be lesser with republicans than with democrats
