Guys, when is Trump giving us our green cards? He didn't even mention DACA or the Dreamers in his speech last night. Didn't some of you say he cares about us and would give us a fix?

And when are grocery prices coming down to make America great again?

I think we will have to wait and see very soon. The budget will be settled very shortly and then its immigration time. Big assumptions, big waits. But ultimately, my prediction is they are going to go hard on border security and then once that is settled, maybe, they will do something for those that remain. Again, its all up in the air, but I think, and maybe I really am delusional that we will finally have our situation settled.

My proof of confidence in these facts? That I am still in the states despite having options. Because I would rather stay home than tie my future to a new country. Because the country needs me, needs all of us, its one nation from many voices and backgrounds. These separatists that want to tear the country apart along racial lines, but I think that ultimately they will be defeated.

When his term began, I was cautiously optimistic. However, it is inevitable that we will be affected next. Even vft1008's big plan B will not be effective, given the significant changes occurring within the USCIS legal system. We were expecting a DACA solution or a similar resolution to be included in the border deal or a similar bill, but the Democrats gave in without obtaining anything for us during the Laken Riley act.

As for border security, the Republicans are poised to secure that and more in their budget negotiation deal without the need for Democratic support. It is frustrating to see Republicans consistently blocking bills as the minority, while Democrats seem unable to take action. We cannot depend on Republicans to provide relief with the way things are going.

Our only viable solution will likely come during the spending bill. However, do not anticipate any significant action or support from the Democrats. We already know they are weak on everything. The Democrats' way of fighting back is by dressing in pink to "protest." Let that sink in…

Democrats lost badly in November. They have a minority in the Senate and the House. In case you didn't know, they ALL voted "no" on many of Trump's cabinet member appointments, including the brain worm man. They also filibustered on one the first pieces of legislation this Congress is trying pass (a few days ago).

What else, specifically and realistically, do you want them to do at this point and moving forward? They have no power. Dems lost big. What do you want? Get your head out of your ass.

Also, for a Plan B... you keep saying NOW it will be hard given the administrative and institutional changes (to USCIS, for example). You've had since 2012 to work on a plan B and just now your considering one? You sat on your ass, waiting for politicians to come to your rescue, and have been typing essays on this lonely forum. That's your fault. You've had since 2012 (more than 10 years) to work on your dating game and work towards marriage with a USC or be better prepared to come up with a plan to move elsewhere or some other alternative.

But the Democrats, amirite?

You epitomize weakness with your constant excuses and lack of action. The Democrats cannot blame their minority status for their failures, especially when they betray immigrants like with the Laken Riley act. Stop waving the white flag and start holding them accountable, especially when it comes to their power during spending negotiations. Democrats like you are why the party is losing support. It's time to listen to constituents and stop following blindly.

As for your so-called "big plan B," don't expect praise when you're not willing to face reality. Republicans are changing the game and you need to adapt. Research the USCIS updates and policies to understand the challenges ahead. Stay humble and grateful, as life can change quickly. Stop berating dreamers and start showing empathy and understanding.
