This sum comes on top of the $33 billion, meaning that if this bill passes, about $200 billion will be made available for immigration enforcement starting in FY 2025.

Imagine ICE becoming x6 more powerful

Cooked, barbequed, burnt, done!

To all those who derailed and put down previous DACA only legislations complaining "what about our parents?!"

Would be shame if this was for your parents!

Don't forget that not too long ago, Democrats, and Kamala were fine with pushing a solo border bill last year (at that time - Republicans were mostly pushing against), can't be too surprised by this. Dems might be saying one thing but secretly want another... and vice-versa. It's all the same bird in the end.

They are funding it higher than the US army. They are targeting removing 2 million people a year.

A lot of the cuts to programs won't hit until 2026, after midterms when Dems might have the majority in congress.

The Republican playbook:
Even though this is a Republican spending bill, they will have massive PR in 2026 and 2027 blaming Dems in congress for it. The poorly educated will believe the lies and there you go. No one will remember this spending bill and how not a single Dem voted for it, but they will believe the lies of the Republican party and narrative at the time.

-Flaccid Don

It will take the next DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT after Trump years to BEGIN undoing the damage.

It will be good to see the rural MAGA regions hit hard by this though. They deserve it.

Stupid is the dumbass on their $80K/year salary that gets upset at the proposal of taxing billionaires more.

100 percent that is what will happen. There are sooooooo many, many stupid Americans. They don’t know anything like how many people didn’t know the ACA was Obamacare. Then you have people who just don’t care and are apathetic. Personally, I just hate the people who are like both parties are the same. That is definitely not the case.

Everyone in health care - well, ALMOST everyone - there is a MAGA contingency that is a small minority, are pissed. How the f*** are we going to help our patients when they are at risk of losing their coverage every month if they are unable to secure employment?

How does forcibly removing millions of community members with decades of employment benefit these rural and red states? It doesn't and it should not happen.

MAGA destroying the county with cruelty and corruption. Disgusting.
