You don't know how much you can take unless you experience it first hand, I guess. I also don’t understand why he didn’t just file a bogus asylum claim since that was his other option and for the sake of just doing something. He just signed the self deportation papers. Maybe cuz even after he filed any type of immigration case, they would still keep him in the detention center while it was pending? Also if he had renewed his DACA, what’s to stop them from keeping him in detention center for the 2 years? That’s what I want to know. |
Why don't they make a renewal portal on the uscis website to make it easier to renew. It's now 12 years into this temporary 2 year program.
There's some reports of the conditions being bad on purpose to make them give up. Rotten food. Cold. Illnesses going rampant. Stagnant water. They rushed construction on a lot of places trying to make the deportation theatrical more realistic but they are running into hard limits.
