So I was never able to apply for DACA (Heavy financial issues and some proof of continuous residency I was missing)

Do you guys think I can still apply for SUCCEED despite not having applied for DACA?

A lawyer I hired said I met all the requirements and more I was just too late.

it would be tough if you have some missing proof of continuous residency.

remember, SUCCEED ACT is a conservative bill, its very stringent.

Well I do have proof, I was just misled on what we could use for proof (Free lawyers go figure) so when I sent my packet to get checked out by a different paid lawyer , he said I was ready to go.

But it was already Sept and there wad rumors about DACA ending so thank goodness I didnt pay anything.

I agree. This does not help the Aged out Dreamers of 2012 DACA.
