You asked for my qualifications to dictate what's a good deal and what's not and I gave your answer. A deal that throws other immigrants under the bus, including older dreamers and only favors an arbitrary select few (like DACA holders) is a bad deal. My qualification is that I'm one of the people who will be under the bus and I don't like that position.

So what's your qualification for thinking what's a good deal? Anything that benefits DACA recipients at the determent of others? Or do you just like it because Trump might like it?

look it up. there's a reason they want to limit that.
and a good deal has already been proposed.
all it needs is some changing.
GC with a path to citizenship for 1.8 million qualified dreamers + ending diversity lottery visas + cutting legal immigration down + border wall funding + no extra internal enforcement, just add more immigration judges to clear backlogs.

you live in a fantasy world where the only good deal that exists is a clean DA.

While I am grateful and happy to have anything so far in terms of status, I feel that the 2 year credit should be extended to those who are under DACA for the time they have been granted deferred action. I'll take anything though, beggars can't be choosers. Hopefully something comes of this and we finally get some relief.

even if we a get a clean DA that only legalizes the 1.8 mil eligible DACA recipients, he will call it a bad deal.

theres a reason why he wants to put off a deal this cycle, bcuz he wants to be included in the next cycle. thats what he mean when he says no deal is better than a bad deal.

he goes on here preaching about caring about other immigrants, but in reality he hates DACA'ers the most, hes willing to throw 800k-1.8million DACA eligible people under the bus if it doesnt include him.

he calls us selfish, but hes selfish as well. him and DACA-IR-DA are the worst representation of the aged out dreamer group, i've met other aged out dreamers and interacted with them on here and they only wish the best for us, except those two.

if i was an aged out dreamer and dont qualify for relief, i wouldnt go on here and say "if im not included, there should be no bill passage at all" you bet i'd be happy for the DACAers and support them 100%

Let's get back on topic and not derail the thread anymore than it already has with arguments on who deserves relief more.

it's really tough when someone attacks DACAers and tell them that DACA should die and we'll be fine without it till November.

thats a big no no.

This is a humanitarian issue and aged out Dreamers should be included. They have been here the longest, have families who depend on them, and deserve the same opportunity to prove themselves.

It's not either or. Both can be included.

Original Dreamers like IamAman and myself have been waiting one of the longest. Dream Act 2001 was introduced and only the 2010 version had no age cap which failed of course. I believe aged out Dreamers should be included.
