I didn't see that crowd as very powerful. The police just wasn't prepared. The people who stormed in are being arrested and prosecuted.

A trial without a conviction won't really mean anything to Trump or his base.

Update regarding immigration reform:

Pretty much, CIR is DOA but there is hope in negotiating a deal that can include more visas and Daca.

Personally , I think Biden’s proposal for all undocumented has zero chance to pass . If it’s just for DACA and TPS , it’s possible
