Honestly, we got a bunch of people in here making 40, 50, 60k+ once we had the opportunity to, and you got a bunch of Americans out there squandering their potential on drugs and taking welfare and complaining about minimum wage. What's all this talk about us taking the low pay labor jobs. Some of these legal status people aren't even trying to get up in the pay scale. Makes no sense that we, once given permission, were mostly able to find decent paying jobs, while everyone else is still dealing with supposedly high unemployment. What I'm seeing does not match statistics at all. It's just a bunch of excuses lazy Americans make to feel entitled.

75K. Software test engineer.

Im happy to hear we are all doing GREAT WORK!!

Lets keep putting pressure on congress and the senate - we have no idea what president elect may do.

I know a lot of our lives would change if he were to undo OBAMAS's executive action.

There are people who are going to become doctors who are DREAMERS.

Lets keep on fighting and lets keep on making our voices be heard!

1st year out of college with a BA in accounting.
45k as an accounting clerk, work for a fairly large franchise in Miami. Assuming my EAD is renewed, I am on pace to complete my Macc program + CPA debt free in 2018.

Another way to go about it is to start contracting. Not by yourself, but get in touch with a contracting agency, they'll have tons of jobs available at different levels of the pipeline. Take one, anything really. Then go from there. This is how I started.

85k - 150k is standard for Software Engineering. Depending on the city.

How do you make so low and you are a CS major?

Unless I heard wrong that you're not a CS or engineering major.
