Playing captain obvious here, but for those who struggle with conversions - that is 1 year. How can someone remain unemployed for a year?

Some people can't maintain a job, they jump around from one place to another.

That is okay. You are allowed to jump ships just have to be employed for 48 of 60 months. 48 months can be a combination of A, B and C employers. This is another way of showing that we can support ourselves and will not be a burden on the government.

As long as you got your 1099 and pay taxes, it shows you are earning money and can support yourself!

For sure, I was just saying that the one year we get to be able to be unemployed helps those that are unable to secure a long term job.

Can someone explain the part of this bill that makes it worse than DA? I know there’s the no sponsorship thing, but someone said here that It won’t be easy anyway with DA. Is there anything else that makes it drastically different? And what’s the possibility to merge, perhaps, both bills?
