Trump is acting really bizarre tbh, must be Flynn cooperating with Mueller.
Old age setting in, that's the only explanation. It's expected.

Nothing. Would make me happier than seeing him impeached

My prediction is that during these days serious negotiations will be taking place to avoid a shutdown since the GOP knows dems won't bend. On December 7 they will vote on days +border security and chip the hurricane aid and all of that. And it will pass with a majority of votes.

People here are losing their minds and insulting each other as if we haven't been aware/preparing for this mess of a situation since it was first announced the Democrats would withhold their votes without a DACA fix. We knew this was coming, we knew the GOP would pull whatever stunt they can think of to blame Democrats, and we knew by when it had to get done. Trying to make each other look less credible doesn't do anything.

Use that energy to mobilize, and if you can send the ones who you think are doing good for us a message of support, do so.

Wasn't there an article on the forum a while ago about McConnell saying the GOP had the ability to extend it until mid-January? I may be mistakenly referring to the debt limit.

If it needs to be decided by Dec. 8th, holy crap! We're screwed. All the too proud politicians (both Dems and Repubs alike) will take forever to even get over their tantrums and finally sit down.

Only in America. Where the politicians suck and yet they always manage to get re-elected.

"We are not anticipating a shutdown. We think that we'll be able to work together. But the developments of the last 24 hours are discouraging," White House spokesman Raj Shah told reporters traveling with Trump.

Democrats have said they will demand help for young people brought to the United States illegally as children as part of their price for providing votes on the budget measure.

I would say he is quite possibly hating himself for that right now as everything is about to come to halt but that would require self-awareness.
