Pence breaks the tie, 48-47, advancing House-passed spending/wall package

47-47 with Pence breaking the tie. Motion to proceed to the House-passed CR (w/ $5 billion in border funding) PASSES in the Senate.

Next steps TBD.

This just needs simple majority then that bill will be taking up to the senate which needs 60
To pass and that’s the hard part at this time. Attach DACA and boom there’s the 60
