u do realize the first amendment/free speech protects you from the government right? not from other entities.

u can free speech all u want but people can give a dissent and call u out on it.

if i yell “fire” in a movie theater u think theyll let it pass? they would kick me out.

read the consitution again, dumbass.

The First Amendment (Amendment I) to the United States Constitution prevents the government from making laws which respect an establishment of religion, prohibit the free exercise of religion, or abridge the freedom of speech, the freedom of the press.

Possible path to a border security deal. Fox has learned that conferees a mulling offering Trump more than $1.3b for border barriers/walls/fencing. Dems may then impose restrictions on the money, perhaps even reaching back into PREVIOUS fiscal yrs.
Lol dems.

Trump will take as much money for the wall right now. Anything above 1 billion and all the extra stuff they are throwing in for free that he didn’t even ask like the 22 billion for border patrol. And then when daca comes around the corner to scotus he will ask for the rest cut legal immigration for daca. Plus 1.3 billion is more than enough for one year construction of the wall

Any predictions on what dems will get in return? Or do you think they're doing this without getting anything back?

Democrats will get some donations from the CEOs of the private detention centers and hispanic votes in 2020 to keep advocating for us.

Dreamers for a Bipartisan Solution
2 hrs
⚠️A Few Updates from D.C⚠️

1️⃣ According to the offices we met with there will most likely not be a permanent solution for Dreamers or TPS recipients by the Feb.15, 2019 deadline. It is expected that within the next few days Speaker Pelosi will be announcing some DHS funding without full Wall money in order to keep the government open.

2️⃣ Most of the members of Congress we spoke to don’t see the DACA topic being seriously addressed again until the Supreme Court rules on the case which could be October 2019 or early 2020. Most predictions are that the Supreme Court will strike down DACA which would then force Congress to work on finding a permanent solution for DACA and TPS.

3️⃣ After Trump’s first offer to extend DACA and TPS for three years in exchange for Wall money, Democratic leadership said that was a non-starter. We agreed with them and today we got a chance to sit down with Democratic leadership and ask what their “Counter- Offer” would be to Trump’s proposal- They had None.

4️⃣ At this point it seems like the Democratic party continues to be on the defense without providing real solutions or counter offers to Trump’s initial proposal. Many members of Congress mentioned that 2020 would be a better time to solve this issue when they believe the Democratic party will win over more seats in Congress. However, we don’t buy that strategy because when the Democrats controlled the House, Senate, and Presidency in 2010 they couldn’t get it done either. Democrats have used the topic of immigration to win elections each year without providing real results- and it doesn’t seem like the 2020 elections will be any different. *♀️

⚠️ Again all of this is information that we were able to collect from today’s meetings. Nothing is confirmed and things could always change. However, things did not look hopeful today in D.C.

What are your thoughts?
Will there ever be a permanent solution to this issue?

Well that's no good. Depending on the democrat's good graces in 2020 and relying just on their "morality" is a fickle thing. The wall for DACA deal would've truly put pressure on both sides to see it through.
