You guys realize that we joined, we would get the shittest jobs? I feel like this would literally kill so many DREAMers. So many of us would die, fighting for a residency that we'll never get to use. We will literally die. Where would that leave our families who worked so far and gave up so much for us?

Maybe its the conspiracy theorist in me but I feel like they just want a way to legally dispose of us and this is it.

Like i said in a thread in the lounge, expect your "residency" when they lay out your casket.

All I see is a bunch of cowards nowadays, you expect a free handout and you WILL never get it. Maybe once you step into the real world and realize things aren't always what you want. I could choose to go to any university I want, do i have the funds to pay for it? No. But If I love this country and want to become a citizen like I say I do, this shouldn't be a no-brainer, but of course to you guys it is. Also, many of you are not aware of the military and their uses of you, if you're pretty stupid and fail the ASVAB then you're fucked. Simple as that.

cool..i agree to going after what you want; I just fail to see how the ARMS act is any less of a handout than DREAM. I can put up w/4 years of physical labor, not many can do the same in mental labor (hence dropouts).

WOW, Lol I'm university educated, I DIDNT GET single handout from ANYONE. So if you can put up with 4 years of physical labor, man up and stop bitching.

and LOL at seeing how DREAM is more of a handout than ARMS, keep living in your fairy tale.

So true. They're living in la-la land where they get financial aid to go to college and there's a career waiting for them after graduation.

In reality, they sit around at home playing game boys or serve food down the street for $10/hr and they're going to do that for the rest of their lives and by the time that DA passes, they're disqualified because they're too old.

Republicans offer them to join the military for legalization and they say no. How sad.

Exactly, i mean if you're trying to say that you got love for this country what a better way to show your patriotism than by joining the force and if you're so concerned about going Infantry dont join the Army or the Marines. Get your grades up at a local community college and join the Air Force or Navy.

I have been thinking about going through a hunger strike untill the ARMS ACT is passed or the DREAM ACT. i am willing to sacrifice my health to show lawmakers that we need this legislations passed and enacted. I now live near Dallas tx and I dont know who to contact for support about my idea. help please.

Cool!

I'm in too!

But I think we should also do something bigger or different

We need quite a large group of people though
