Senator _______,

As per DHS Secy. Kelly said today, he believes that DACA will fall if the states' continue with their litigation against the WH regarding DACA. The Congress needs to address this issue or nearly a million DREAMER's will lose their livelihoods.

Democrats need to compromise with Senate Republicans on a solution to replace DACA. We dont need full citizenship just legal status! please compromise and attach RACA or the Bridge ACT to Kates Law or any other immigration enforcement bill the GOP house passes! Please, this community needs your help!

Looks like aged out DREAMers and those who arrived at a later date will be out of luck again
I hope I get to finish my degree before I get deported.

For some reason I'm not nervous or stress about this. The time for final closure on dreamers' place in this country is coming. At the end of this year,we will all know if a path to legalization is reachable. If DACA die without a replacement, the chance of Congress passing something later on is very slim. At that time, we can all make a decision on our future without all the uncertainty.

Yes, but only for the purpose of waiving a TEOFL test requirement since international students usually have to submit that.

I've provided SSN in application, but they've not asked for EAD for the fellowship.

Both. Tuition is taken care of on their end and just applied to my account. I also get a direct deposit stipend.

I will be at a Catholic university, and the president of my university signed this commitment by Catholic university to support undocumented students (this was after Trump was elected). Because of this, I feel pretty good about them working with me and being flexible. I also know that there is only so much they can do.

I'm torn between reaching out proactively to the head of my department and being like hey this is what is happening, can we come up with a contingency plan or just not saying anything and hoping no one notices or says anything.

Not that simple. There are about a dozen competitive Senate seats held by Democrats in solidly red states. Most of these states are a part of the lawsuit against DACA. Next year these Democrats can actually run against DACA and the BRIDGE Act.

If it was just tuition applied to your account, I would say you are ok. The fact you are getting a direct deposit stipend is going to be an issue, and there's a good possibility you will lose the fellowship. Unfortunately even if they wanted to help, I believe that stipend is still considered 'working' and requires work authorization. I could be wrong though. Maybe someone else knows.

It's not whether Congress can or can't pass RACA as opposed to Bridge Act.
As of today RACA had 13 cosponsors(out of 435). I don't think it can pass in the current political climate. BRIDGE Act actually has a chance.
