Personally, I would take a permanent DACA renewal program with unrestricted travel.

I think the dynamics of this shutdown/talks will change depending on SCOTUS decision to take DACA case or not.

Permanent DACA with travel sounds like a greencard without citizenship.

Why not just make us into US nationals and amend it so that we cant get citizenship.

You know Dems would take Dream Act in exchange for the Wall, Trump is the reason this deal is not getting done.

He wants Nancy to agree and then he will use that against her, that's how he burned the Democrats before, just like he didn't like to pay for the materials on his construction deals and that is why he went bankrupt 4 times and why he will get impeach and get nothing, can't make a deal with scum

Imagine if this deal is presented in the Senate and Mitch decides to go nuclear and it passes in the Senate. That would put the Democrats in a tough spot in the House and Trump and the Republicans would dare them to vote againts TPS and DACA protections.

Depends on the level of protection that's offered. Dems can easily reject DACA protections if it's temporary. It doesn't hurt dems at all. They'll say you give dreamers 3 years? Ok, we'll fund the wall for 3 years, whatever that's built by then we'll tear it down in 3 years.

Mitch won't ever nuke the filibuster, not for a budget.
