Sad to say this but I predicted this at the beginning of the shut down, it was going to be either the BRIDGE act or nothing and after talks failed regarding the BRIDGE act, I knew we were heading towards nothing.

Realistically the BRIDGE act deal didn’t meant much considering the fact that it was temporary and DACA still standing and their BRIDGE act proposal was most like going to make our situation even tougher.

At this point we should all be looking for a plan B, because neither the Democrats or the Republicans are serious about fixing our issue.

I say wait one more year. We are not at that plan B point yet. We will win.

I was going to drop out of law school as soon as Trump won the election thinking we were all going to get deported. I am glad I didn't because shit worked out; finishing up last semester. We are going to make through a Trump presidential term.

WAIT.

You do realize that being stuck here in the situation you’re in doesn’t make it the end of you’re life right?

There are options out there and although they may take longer but at least it’s a glimpse of hope.

-Applying to Canada or another immigrant friendly country, most dreamers are doing that.
-Adjusting through marriage
-Being sponsored by a family member

These are just some options dreamers are doing as a plan B. Personally I was waiting on marriage even though my girlfriend has given me the option, however if it gives me a glimpse of opportunity yes I will do so and take that as a plan B and if that doesn’t work, apply to Canada and qualify through their point system.

We didn't. We will win. Trust me. We have made it this far.

We all have our bad days, but it's only a matter of time. Unless you are being offered a 100k + position in Canada right now, it's still too early to make the decision to leave.

Although I agree with you in some sense, a plan B can take a long time to plan, so even though we have the option to wait this out, it wouldn’t hurt to try and start planning for the “just in case” moment.

The way this Congress is so dysfunctional we’re you have you’re moderate Republicans vs you’re far right and now you have you’re moderate Democrats vs the progressives, were at the point were even members of their own party can’t agree with one another so it’s tough to put that 100% confidence into this Congress.

I’m not saying hit the panic button, but I am saying to be prepared and plan.

I actually already have a plan B if congress don’t give us anything permanent. I am still waiting to see this year. I recently re-connected with my high school classmate. She said she likes me and wants to have a serious relationship. She isn’t really my type but fck it if congress don’t do something. I have no other option but to date her and propose to her in few months and adjust.

@ChadPergram
Shelby and Capito aren’t sure if immigration reform/DACA could be considered in conference committee on border security. Shelby:
"Our goal is to fund the gov't." Capito on if they could entertain immigration reform or DACA: "I think that’s a question that’s still unanswered"

Chad Pergram
@ChadPergram
Senate Apps Cmte chair Shelby on if they should limit the scope of the conference, prohibiting discussion on immigration reform or DACA:
When you have a broad conference, you don’t want to say scope is limited..you never know about the scope of a conference

Chad Pergram
@ChadPergram
Graham: I don't see Democrats giving a lot more money just for the border unless they get something. I think the president's in the mode of doing a deal. We'll just see if we get reasonable people to agree.
