Guys,
I was thinking about the worst case scenario for my AOS process. Lets assume that for some odd reason USCIS does not approve me for Green Card... What would happen then if I'm on valid DACA.

I hope everything goes smooth with my process but I always like to "Hope for the best, plan for the worst"

It depends on the reason for denial! If denied by fraud, you can lose both. If simply denied you should revert back to the status you had last.

Hi guys. I have a question... I sent in my application for AOS on Feb 10th. I went the DACA-AP-AOS route. I've been with my husband for almost 9 years but we just got married this last November. I wanted to change my last name from my maiden name to my husband's last name and was told to send the application in under my new name and put my maiden name as other names used. I received my receipts for my application all under my new name.
My question is when I get my biometrics notice it will be under my new name as well but I don't have an ID under my new name yet. Will my current drivers license, marriage certificate, and EAD card be enough for them to accept and allow me to do my biometrics?

No my DL and EAD have my maiden name. I applied under my new married name. That's why I'm worried about not having an ID under my new name for the biometrics.

I think you should be fine showing DL & Marriage license to them. But, do you have time to update ur license before the biometrics appt? It's good you filed in your new name, but you should change SSA and DMV now.

I actually did the opposite. All the AOS paperwork was filed under my maiden name. However, my attorney encouraged me to update my driver's license to reflect my new address so it matches our AOS application. In order to update DMV records, you have to update SSA. I changed my name with SSA last week and will go to DMV once I get my new card to update name and address. Assuming all goes well and we get an interview scheduled, I hope the fact that I changed my name after the application was filed won't mess anything up
