Sounds like you're on the expected timeline, right? You did your bios w/in a month of application, and now you're just waiting for the interview.

kind of messed up isn't it? To require people to carry it everywhere and all the time, and yet charge so much for a replacement. I mean it's pretty common that people get DLs or credit cards lost or stolen, and it's usually easy & cheap to get replacements... except for immigrants where it's $500

That's what I was thinking. I lost at least 3 wallets last year. At one point Riverside Police department wanted to get in contact with me and contacted La Habra Police where LH police went to my mom's house at 11 pm looking for me., I live with my wife but I had my mom's address on the lost Driver's license.. Apparently Riverside Police pulled over some guy and arrested him and he had my driver's license.. My mom was shitting bricks as was myself. A Riverside Detective got a hold of me I cleared this up. I had no idea who the guy was and I just asked him to destroy my DL as I had already gotten a replacement.

How important is it that I list my assets in the I-864 filing? My husband is obviously including his to show that he can "support us", but do I need to add mine, as well?

It's optional, but I'm wondering whether it would help or hurt us...We have a huge income gap, so even though I could fully support myself before the marriage by anybody's standards, I'm worried I'll look like a gold digger in the eyes of USCIS..

If he covers the poverty line, that's all they care about.

Vivace I AM IN THE SAME BOAT! Hahahahah I asked the same question. For my initial and my renewal for DACA i just put my own income and expenses. Now that we are married I wanted to ask the same question. Looking forward to an answer! My Husband makes over double what I make, and next year he will be make much more. >.<
