Here, open this link, it's pretty much a library of immigration questions (well this one is specifically for your question)

Job interview question - I am in AR and ships in November, I have a job interview for a very lucrative position today. Any advise on how I let them know about BCT in November or should I withhold the information until later in the process? Seems like there's a ton of discrimination in recruiting this day and age, applied to two other positions that I felt would normally garner automatic phone interviews but didn't. Advise?

I wouldn't tell them until you get the job offer... They wouldn't be bound to military personnel protection laws until they hire you, right?

^Pretty much that, I just got offered a job as well with a major company (leveraged the army enlistment during the interview as well which is ironic to the max on my part), however I'm not going to say anything until maybe 2 weeks out before actual confirmed ship date.

They're just probing for liabilities at the interview and basically what lyrad said, they're not obligated until you're hired, even then I'm sure it's a PITA for employers to having to abide anytime someone goes on military leave, having to fill the gap, etc.

I'm a new member of this forum and just started to apply MAVNI program to become a reservist.
However, my recruiter keeps saying that the reserve program might get closed by this early June.
Does anyone have any information regarding this?

Also, my ASVAB test is coming up in few weeks.
Is there any way that I could improve my scores by studying certain books?

To be fair, MAVNI can close anytime, however keep in mind that they are probably saying that for quota purposes. My recruiter treated AD and AR as if they were the same, no discrimination, no pressure.
