Same here. At this point I am ready to take the opportunities in Canada and have started the process. However, the 10 year ban that would prevent me from visiting my family is the only factor that stops me. Does any one know of a way to manage this?

You sponsor them to Canada after you become a citizen.

That takes a few years and half of them are US citizens.

then ur US Citizens family can visit you in Canada.

im not gonna tell you the 10 year bar is 100% guarantee, it will be a case by case basis once you become a Canadian citizen.

I would say it is a guarantee... It would not be a guarantee if you were a regular old under the radar illegal in the U.S but once you have DACA you are in the system for life. U.S and Canada probably share all this information.

this isnt true, there is no such "system." where they share ALL information. all the DACAers that moved to Canada don't know even know yet but they always stated that Canadian Immigration officials dont know what DACA is, and they dont know what the different immigration laws and statuses an individual can have in America.

for our express entry application they are only asking for the last 10 years of history. if you say that we're in the system for life, then we would be inadmissible because we accrued unlawful presence here in America but Canadian Immigration officials dont know American immigration laws and its specificity.

again, i wouldnt say anything is final because its a case by case basis, once we get our Canadian Citizenship in 2-3 years, we will let u know if we can come back. our lawyers said dont try it, but i guess we will never know.

I never said you are inadmissible to Canada. The person asked to come back to the U.S after being a Canada P.R

Coming back to the U.S under the 10 year ban is a difficult task... They are not going to let you in just because you are Canadian now.

i get that but i wouldnt close the door for anyone. i guess it depends on the person and what their immigration issue is. its a case by case basis i suppose.

if the poster "deiguer" said he has US Citizen family members here, then he could supposedly file for a I-601 waiver to waive the 10 yr bar.
