Depending where you live, you might be able to add her name to the existing lease since you're married now, and it wouldn't affect the terms of the lease. My spouse and I were able to do this in NYC since we have a rent stabilized apt

For the I-130/I-485, there's so many docs, its easy to miss things. I suggest a google search of evidence lists and required forms, then do a checklist, and carefully go through it, some examples here and here here . For the I-130, the old G-325A was replaced by I-130A

After green card. Do we qualify for let's say for example Covered California where we get help paying for insurance based on income and etc. Or does that 5 year ban BS still come into play?

No, most submit all the forms for two specific reasons. AP and EAD is free when you mail all at the same time. Submitting in sections could also slow down the process. If USCIS has all the appropriate paperwork, they may adjudicate your application a lot quicker when it is all in front of them.

thanks for the reply. However, i am a visa overstayee, therefore AP might not help me much however i intend to apply for the work permit since its free. But i have one, thru DACA that expires in January.

I will definitely try to submit all paperwork.

AP for those with a pending application for residency is completely different than AP mentioned for those who applied through DACA. AP is multiple entry when your application is pending.

AP for DACA holders is usually limited to one entry.
