That's perfectly understandable, everything should be fine from now on though. Enjoy the new found freedom!

You'll be fine. I traveled to India in November. When I came back they had me go back into the little room at O'Hare like they do when people travel with AP. I waited around with my wife for like 30 minutes or so but they never asked me anything, they just called me up gave me my green card back and said to have a good day. Doesn't really seem to happen to other people so who knows what that was about.

The situation has created restrictions that seem 'nominal' not to travel. It is natural, but with US residency, you are cleared to travel freely.

I received an I-797C today for my EAD approval, and the card is on the way. Hopefully this means that they will be ready to schedule our interview soon.

Do you guys think there's a correlation between EAD receipt and the interview?

From what I have seen on here...about 1.5 months or less to gaining information your case is about to be schedule an interview.

Welp. I asked too soon. Figured I'd check our case status just to see if anything's changed and our case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.

Sounds like things are moving along. I hope we get our interview date soon.

Congrats, it is now only a matter of time before you get the letter. Might be even this week.

On another note, just thought I would highlight USCIS filing tips for AOS.

That was fast. My case seems to be following the posted datelines. I got my EAD/AP exactly at the 3 month mark. As posted. And it seems my interview won't be until late October. I'm in Vegas. What's your field office?
