Democrats are not gonna let it happen and neither would some Republicans. This is why Democrats need to come out and heavily oppose it instead of just denying the whole legislation (That isnt even that bad)

That's what they've been trying to do since October and the Trump administration always moves the demands farther to the right. You really can't see that? I understand that people see what they wanna see, but dont lets not be delusional.

Sorry bud, but if you think Trump isn’t going to start ramping up deportations regardless of whether they pass this or not you are sadly in for a rude awakening. This is our only chance to actually protect them, even a little, because we wouldn’t have to fear for our own safety.

Im happy if Trump gets his plan. But only because itll benefit me. And I only think like that today because we live in a very unjust, dog eat dog world.

But I also see why democrats are fighting it. This merit base is going to end up only allowing people with trades to come in the country. Doctors, scientists, engineers etc.That means no more middle class immigrants coming in.

Which sucks bc thats what the "American Dream" is all about. Coming here bc you know you dont have the same opportunities in your home country. Trump and co. want to make it so only people who've already made it are allowed to come here. Essentially killing the American Dream.
