Anyone know how long it takes to receive Green card after approval? I received my welcome letter and that same day got an update that my GC had been sent.

Hello, I have a question trying to see if anyone here was in the same situation as me. I came to the USA in 2002 from Uruguay through the wisa waiver progam at that time. The stamp that I have is WB/WT. I was trying to figure out if that would be a problem to adjust status. I currently have deferred action and I got married last year and I am now in the precess of trying to do the application myself.

If your application is done by us citizen and approvable when filed, you should have no issue adjusting status and having your overstay forgiven. The issue was certain USCIS offices were taking a more independent and coarse view of how a VWP overstay is not able to adjustt status. That is no longer the case since 2011.

Dreamers,

On the signature that you guys place here in DAP, is Received: the date it was delivered or the date certain office started working on it? Or some receipt was sent?
