Did you submit your change of address online? If not, you should submit online for good measure.

When I did mine which was a few time. I also did it online. And I received an email confirmation. And I think they also give you some confirmation number after you completed it online. The last time I did it was this time last year and I did get an email.. but I don't know if things changed since then
