Is it possisble that you are referring to the new provisional waiver?
Also, post BIA's decission on Arrabally, travel outside the US with Advanced Parole does not trigger the 3 or 10 year bar (unless of course you have a removal order on your record).

EDIT: Never mind, they're not the same thing. It seems that, upon return, everyone gets "paroled until" for another year. What does that even mean?
