I hate being that person, but I'm going to tell you anyways: in my opinion, there's a 70% that no relief for any DACA-holders will pass after this Comey firing thing. This is actually pretty serious, for the first time since Trump took office, I saw the word "impeachment" on a major, mainstream news source.

If any of that does happen and Mike Pence does get sworn in, any talk of relief for us is dead.

Unless Pence is on it too...I've read rumors it might come down to President Hatch.

Read an article online about Rep. Diana DeGette (CO) speaking about BRIDGE Act during a press conference and since there is really no updates on it I will post a couple tidbits.
Quote:
DeGette said that she and other lawmakers are trying to build enough of a bipartisan coalition around the BRIDGE Act for Speaker of the House Paul Ryan to allow the bill to be heard on the House floor.

"What we decided was that, with the BRIDGE Act, we want to have an equal number of Democrats and Republicans [sponsoring it],” explained DeGette. "We could probably have over 180 Democrats co-sponsor the bill, but we really think it's important to have an equal number of Republicans.

"I believe that if this bill were brought to the floor, it would pass. But the question is getting Speaker Ryan to bring legislation like this to the floor,” she continued.

Asked by Westword whether she thought a floor hearing was possible before the 2018 midterm elections, DeGette responded, "I would hope so."

What's Pence's stance on issues related DACA? Has he said anything about it in public?

Here's the thing, in order for the Democrats to successfully flip the house, they would have to unseat several republicans who are in essentially purple districts. This includes several co-sponsors of the ENLIST Act as well as the author, Jeff Denham (R CA10). Without him in office during the potentially majority democratic House, there is no way that the ENLIST Act be re-introduced or even be voted upon. Believe it or not, this congress has a good chance of passing some sort of immigration relief for most of us DACA recipients due to the high support and humanitarian sympathy we tend to inspire in a lot of immigration hardliners.

The center for immigration studies is freaking out about the ENLIST Act they posted the following about it and since they are in direct contact with the Trump Administration they might know something about it.
Quote:
There are a couple of intertwined rumors going around our capital city relating to this (ENLIST Act) bill: First, that the Trump White House may be considering it favorably; and second, that its authors may attempt to insert it into the sprawling Pentagon appropriations bill, the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), even though it is nominally against congressional rules to use appropriations bills to pass substantive legislative proposals — something that regularly gets overlooked as a matter of convenience when legislators so choose.
Again this is just an opinion article posted by this controversial organization take everything with a grain of salt. Please delete post if inappropriate just thought it might give you guys some kind of insight into where the bill is heading. http://cis.org/cadman/return-enlist-...-horse-amnesty
