I checked my account, the message still says "In Process
USCIS has accepted your application, petition, or request for processing." But the date was updated to 8/18/2018?

Dropped renewal documents into blue box on the block on 08/03/2018

It was delievered to Chicago on 08/06/2018

Check was cashed by USCIS today on 08/10/2018

Biometrics scheduled on 08/27/2018

Seems like they are really going by that 5 month prior to your current expiration window of approvals
