Thanks!

Also, congrats on your interview date. I hope it goes well and look forward to hearing about your experience.

Biometrics letter came in today. Appointment next Monday the 17th. I will not be in the state so I will try to do a walk in Monday morning.

My USCIS account online did not update with this notification.

Today Monday July 10th 2017 I went to the USCIS office and did a walk in. The biometrics were succesful. I gave the officer my itenary for my trip next week and they were okay with it.

Now I will wait for any new updates.

On a second thought, they didn't even go over my itenary, the officer asked the other officer if he can do a walk in. He looked at me and said yeah that's fine. I even highlighted the dates on the itenary but they didn't bother. They did like the fact I had proof. So I doubt you can do a walk in without a good excuse anymore.

Nice, I may have to do a walk-in as well due to new employment.

Lucky you!

One time, I tried to do a walk-in for the same reason, and they just made me reschedule. But then that was for DACA--maybe they're more lenient for I-130s?

It has to do with location and how busy they are.

I've been doing Walk-In all the time at this place. Total of 3 times, 2 of them being for DACA.

So I am going to be out of the state for the following next two weeks.

Should I be concerned if I get something in the mail? Specially since my uscis account online is not updating fast enough.

I doubt they will send an interview notice this early. Probably get my EAD.

Any thoughts?

Nah. It will be a while before you get your interview notice. Even if you do get a notice, you'll be back in time for the actual interview date.

After your bios, you'll have to wait anyway.

We got i797's in the mail today and Priority Date is May 26, 2015. That's was the PD from when we sent our i130 a couple years ago. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there anyone who already had an approved i130 when they sent i485? Just trying to determine if it changes anything because I'm confused as to whether the interview is for i130 or i485. Thanks in advance!
