We don't know their definition of streamlining things. I'll just wait for an official explanation.

That means that the streamlined process will be to adjust to Permanent Resident, after your 5 years of RPI are up.
Where did you reach that conclusion? Because this 5 year wait as RPI is discussed right above under "DREAM ACT"

Well, under this bill, I can sure damn guarantee that we will be eligible for permanent residency once we meet all of the requirements stipulated in A (i-iv). I mentioned only one clear, possible loophole in my previous posts.

Condtional Permanent Residency = They give you a Green Card that last 2 years.

This is the same when someone marries a US Citizen. After the 2 years are up then they will see if you are approved for Permanent Residency.

JJGlo is correct bro. And, why would the hypothetical streamlined process to citizenship be based on DACA? If you are going to create a streamlined process to permanent residency or citizenship for us, you base it on DACA and/or degrees earned. It does not make sense to get a fast path to citizenship based solely on a DACA approval.

The DACA part is under the "APPLICATION FOR LAWFUL PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS" section. It states "A registered provisional immigrant seeking lawful permanent resident status shall file an application for such status in such manner as the Secretary of Homeland Security may require." Which means that we have to serve RPI, which would be 5 years for Dreamers, whether DACA approved or not. On the DACA section it says that we may get a streamlined process to adjust for Lawful Permanent Resident Status, from RPI status.

‘‘(2) APPLICATION FOR LAWFUL PERMANENT
20 RESIDENT STATUS.—
21 ‘‘(A) IN GENERAL.—A registered provi
sional immigrant seeking lawful permanent resi
dent status shall file an application for such

cants for adjustment to lawful permanent resi

To me it doesn't make sense for DACA approved people to wait 5 years. Because many of us have already higher degrees.

It makes sense for people who haven't met the requirement of higher education or enlistment.

I feel that DACA approved people will get Conditional Permanent Residency (Green Card that lasts 2 years) right away or just straight to Permanent Residency.

Napolitano has the power to do it.
