The good thing is that I just got approved for another 2 year of DACA so I have some time. I think I will be one of the very few in the forum to go this route. I wish my parents brought me in legally instead of EWI, the process is so much easier.

I was going to get marry next December when DACA was still relatively safe. Now with all the new development, I want t0 plan this right so I can still work for the next 2 year while waiting for my AOS.
Yeah, timing is an issue.

At least you just got renewed. I only have until August of next year.

Do you plan on getting marry soon? I remember you mentioned that last year.

Yes,

Planning, still not sure if it will go through, you know it depends on several factors. Main one being that my girlfriend does not back off from it. She agrees it is the best for us to remain together. We are very happy. Before the end of the year I will know for sure.

Is it possible to AOS after AP, having EWI?

yes it is. Coming back with AP creates a legal entry and clears EWI. there's a couple threads in here about it.

I too, expire around August of that time. I was originally going to hold off and wait till next year before filing so I could attain full residency. However, considering the AOS process takes time, wife and I decided it best to send now. Even though the process is much more expensive, AOS at least provides a free EAD and some ability to travel internationally while pending if needed(AP is multi-entry and no reason needed).

Yeah, my girlfriend and I are not married yet. We are trying to decide what the best time is to marry. For me it will be be either beginning of October or around January. October is too close and I might lean towards January.

I am glad you guys are finally going to break free! Congrats and thanks for all the support and help on the forum. And please don't leave us! We will need all the help we can get!

How is it down there? Is it worth the trip to USVI?

I would probably go to Hawaii for mine, or California, never been there.

I am exploring options.

Based on your angry , immature responses ; I imagine it is the latter.

"What is the difference between your first honeymoon and your second? The first: Niagara; the second: Viagra. "
