Cool, in my view I see them as two different questions ith two different answers. But I see what you mean.

Case status was changed to "Case Status is Ready to be Scheduled for Interview" yesterday. Just did biometrics last Friday. Does that seem extra quick or not too unusual? I thought it seemed quick and am wondering if it has anything to do with the fact that we already had an approved i-130? Any thoughts?

That's normal... it happened to me. Didn't get an interview notice until 3 months later.

May I ask what field office your application was at?

Just incase anyone is curious:

I've officially hit 4 months since "Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview"

Service Center is San Francisco, CA with priority date March 3rd, 2017. The back-log struggle is real!

My understanding was that the interview is for the I-130, and not for the I-485. I was under the impression that if you have a granted I-130, then your 485 application would be adjudicated on the papers. Am I wrong?

The interview is for the I-485.

My interview notice only lists the receipt number for the I-485. The I-130 was approved later via a separate I-797C.

Hang in there. It'll happen when you least expect it. My case went from "received" to "you're scheduled". Nothing in between.

I feel you. Over three months here since submission and not even a BIOS notice.
