I hope this means that they are bypassing bios for those who have not yet taken them and jumping ahead to issuing an approval. Would it be too much to ask?

based on your info. they are working on they started to work on application that were accepted the last week of march. So for those of us who applied in first week of april, we can expect a response later on the week or early next week.

I don't know about that, but my attorney did receive an interesting email essentially stating the same thing as that general announcement. However, my receipt date is 6/13/16 so it is clearly not within that delayed time frame. I'm still awaiting bios as well (over 60 days). It's most likely a canned response from the Service, but the interesting thing is that it stated, "Based on our records..." I'm not sure what to make of it.
