Good for Mr. Gates. We should get him to get on T.V and counter some of the bad spin that goes on everyday on cable. And he can be a great guest on Oprah to really bring this to the forefront. When writing to congratulate him we can also ask him to let others know especially other celebrities/academics/community leaders about the issue.

It's obviously a big deal that they took the time to write to Durbin and Lugar, but is it common for them to do so? What actions has Microsoft taken to support other bills? Who can we write to, who can we call, to keep the momentum going?

I think Bill would be Glad that you still wouldnt buy an iphone, being that he is NOT the creator, nor would he profit off of your purchase lol.

but I'm glad he supported it, I for one am a Mac user, but my preference in computer has nothing to do with my gratitude.
