You guys, CIR =\= Dream Act

Even if CIR isn't brought up this year, that doesn't mean Dream can't be attached to something else or be brought up standalone.

sometimes it's ok to vent...let it all out. we've been model citizens, worked our butts off, excelled in school, and yet, we're vilified, taunted, treated less than human, denied opportunites Americans take for granted...you grow up not having proper, normal relations with people not in the same boat as you because you have this scarlet letter branded into your forehead. I don't know how long you've been in this country, but for me, 14+ years living like I'm half-human, living in a tight bubble with the walls constantly closing in on you, and you're always reminded of what you can't have, and your friends move further in life, but because of a small white card, you're always marginalized. I passed up off-campus studies in Russia and the UK (Cambridge)... I could go on and on. so I can easily empathize with Alex. It's ok to scream.

I have 4 cousins who are U.S. Citizens,Yet I'm the First one in my family to Graduate. Most Citizens take everything for granted not knowing some other countries don't have the same opportunities as the U.S.

You guys are throwing a fit over one sentence??? Is that all it takes for you to forget about all the positive progressive we've made this year?

Goddamn, no offense but that's just fucking naive. Even if it is true, the whitehouse is not the deciding matter for senate votes.

Why don't you all stop being so emo over media speculations, "multiple officials?" oh come on.... Watch the Durbin video again and then make some calls.

What have you guys done so far for this Bill to become a law?
It is only begining of April, and it has been only 4 months since Obama became the President of the United States. I do not know about you guys but many guys here waited for many many years, and tried extra hard for this bill to pass.
You guys should just keep it down and not waste time being so negative about this whole situation. Keep calling your senators and ask supports from people around you rather than sitting here talking negative.

we should stop trolling and arguing. As people said, nothing has been decided. I just hate seeing cuss words and calling people out on internet forums.
