It's not arrogance, when criticizing someone who's been on the boards as long as he has, to take the extra 5 minutes to proof read his post. I don't see how that's asking for too much.

What gets on MY nerves, is people flipping out saying 'oh my god the world is ending' every time there's a hint of bad news. CIR_Dream2009 already explained the speculation behind this article above, so no need to guide anyone there.

You don't need a university education to properly write a sentence.
Even better post.

Anyway, I think that what angers people is not that a comment has bad grammar. I always have bad grammar and no one has yet to nail me with that -God help the jerk who does- It is just that grammar is easier to nail than to give a long speech for why your comment sucks.

It is really frustrating to read comments about CIR will not past or Dream Act will not past. Or If Dream is attached to CIR we are doom, or any other negative statement. You might say you have the right to be cynical and reasonable. Well you do not.

Many of this articles have just bits of information and they do not show the whole deal. Up to this point, we are only speculating. We do not know what is going to happen and what is going on. There have been terrific posts by other members in other threads that give the best bets of what is going on. None of them say that CIR is a fact or that it will fail or that the Dream Act is a fact or predestine to fail.

I know some people need to be negative because believing that the Dream Act or CIR or anything is going to fail protects their minds from pain. Some people feel that if they wait for the most negative outcome once it is realized, they will suffer less than if they were all hopes. The problem is that many members need cheerleaders to keep them going and those statement hurt the work of others.

Just as before, wait for the event to happen then react/write.

i dont get it murdoch himself was an immigrant from australia. Also, i read an article a few months back about him praising the capabilities of immigrants when australia reformed their immigration system. Weird rich guy.

that is true when members post up negative comments regarding the dream act other members can feel down because of that. that is why each of us need to keep our hopes up and just keep trying because if we give up then there's nothing left.
