Now, correct me if I am wrong but hasn't this been the same old same old argument. "We cannot pass the DA because we need CIR, we cannot pass CIR because we need to secure our borders first."

Of course there is a big difference between Obama and Bush, in that this administration wants to focus on getting criminals and terrorist while the Bush administration tracked down maidens and laborers because it was easier. Of course for those who think that a maiden is as guilty as a terrorist, this is a detraction.

I don't know but some times it discourages me to see how politics has nothing to do with what should be done; Legalizing dreamers and maidens and making harder for terrorist and drug smugglers to thrive. The Republican party is just doing the opposite which is maintaining the status quo that created this problem. They are playing politics the same way they did when they were in power without caring for national security, economic prosperity or good old justice and compassion.

ha ha ha! Thank you so much for correcting my spelling mistakes. Lately, I had issues with words that kind of sound the same in my head. Two, to, and too are also an issue. Anyway thanks.

All Obama wants to do is show efforts on securing the border, showing progress toward doing it, so the opposition says "look the border is more secure and is gonna get even more secured"...

they will always have some to argue on, but "secure the border" is their strongest argument.
I hope what he's doing now is working. I mean if they are going follow what the original plan in 2007, building a wall, more budget, lol that will take more than two years before CIR (or even up to 4 years) ever re-introduce to the Congress.
CIR still has a long way to go while, since I am only 17, DA is always the best choice and seems to be a good deal at this point.
