I have to respectfully disagree.I do not pick and choose articles based on "morale",or "sensationalistic hand wringing".I choose them based on what appears to be the simple truth. If you want to tell someone about "morale" tell that to the folks on Capitol hill who continuously delay action every time.I will not censor any article that is legitimate. It is clear to me that this White House aide said a lot of things that he wasn't suppose to & the Executive Branch is trying to cover it up by using the PR machine.

It's going to be a looooong wait until Jun.17th,but until then hopefully all the necessary calls are being made to highlight Dream act in the White House.
What did McCain say? It doesn't really matter what kyle says because CIR passed the senate in 2006 without his support.

Well no, you just decided to focus on a mis-attributed quote by an upset Phoenix activist even bolding it for effect. Since when is Dream Act separated from a CIR attempt believable in all the history of the CIR/DA fights of 2006 and 2007 and when Sen. Durbin already signaled he wanted to attach Dream to CIR like they've always done. Again, please use some discretion instead of making mountains out of a molehill of an obvious misunderstanding.

please dont have a heart attack. all ianus did is post an article that is pertinent to the issue and highlight portion of the passage that seems most important, as he has always done. ianus spends good amount of time looking up these up to date articles and he isnt going to pick and choose articles just so you can have false sense of security. sometimes the news is good, sometimes its bad. we're trying to get the whole picture here, not trying to coddle your fragile spirit.

like i said, read every article with your own discretion, dont tell others how to go about doing their part. if you dont like it, skip it or go find another forum

Sorry if I offended you but sometimes you can be very negative that makes me think stuff.

Some of the post you have written in the past do reflect negative opinions.

I just had to bring this up, and I will not continue writing about this subject.

Wait, so was the "DA after CIR" comment made by an WH aide or by a Phoenix activist? Either way, what is with the weird animosity between some CIR supporters and DA supporters?

Also, I want add something. Bruinman may seem negative, but it's good to get multiple viewpoints on the outlook of DA. Wanting only good new is great, but that rarely happens with any issue.

A question i have from you , having a view point is one thing, but spamming every single thread about how DA/CIR is not going to pass, how is that going to help?

Ok, i get it. He states his opinion ( which most of the time has been off-topic of the threads he has posted in) and then what? How is this negativism going to help?

What is he trying to acomplish?

I have only seen his exact type of posts in allicap forums. They keep saying it is not going to pass. So if he agrees with them so much, i think he should just make an account there ( if he has not already) and join up with them.

We are trying every day to pass this bill and it is looking good. That is how i see it. That is how my friends see it. Go look around in some of the anti-immigration reform sites. Many of the members in even those forums are sayig it is inevatible and it is going to pass.

His point of view is even harsher than many opposition. I can not figure out how his negativism is going to help at all.

If i am going to take a hard test ( lets say MCAT), if i think it is super hard and i am not going to score hard, the chances are that i will give up and score low. But if i stop thinking about how hard it is, and open up the book and just read and read and read, then i am going to pass it.

Instead of negative comments on how it is not going to pass, it is much better to just give it your best, believe it will pass and make it happen. At the end of the road, even if it does not pass, if one has given his/her best then that person will not have any regrets.

Thank you so much Bluestar.

I am now 100% sure Bruinman is a freaking spy from alipac.

"I have only seen his exact type of posts in allicap forums. They keep saying it is not going to pass. So if he agrees with them so much, i think he should just make an account there ( if he has not already) and join up with them." Exactly!!!!!!!!

I know I don't participate much in this forum, but all the (real) members should keep an eye on Bruinman.

Thx again
