This thread is funny. Just because we have 30 co- sponsers don't mean shit (besides wonderful support and attention). Do any of you understand the legislative process? Some of those same "sponsers" have lied to us over and over again. They say the are working on it but in honesty the agenda has been set. How many sponsers are needed to move forward? When DA moves out of the judiciary then there is a story. Our bill is somewhere collecting dust and people are arguing about a party that is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Amen to that. I used to get very upset at anyone calling Democrats wimps and flip floppers, yet, as much as I hate to admit it, they were right.

I read on the news that President Obama mentioned immigration reform during his visit to New Orleans (a place that was rebuilt on a lot of illegal immigrants' backs and who were abused by contractors) saying that it might be approached in 2010 or 2011!!!!!!! So that he can dupe our family members with status to vote for the democraps and promise us that if he gets reelected in 2012 THEN he can pass reform. He asks that we wait....

Here is a MLK quote:

“For years now I have heard the word ‘Wait,’ ” King wrote. “It rings in the ear of every Negro with piercing familiarity. This ‘Wait’ has almost always meant ‘Never.’ ”
