Maybe Graham said that because he was trying to scare the democrats... I mean Immigration Reform is gonna have to happen eventually..right? How else are they gonna put an end to future illegal immigration if they don't fix what's wrong with it now.

Graham is just like any other Republican--and many Democrats for that matter. He is looking for an excuse to give up taking a potentially unpopular position on an issue that can be very toxic for him back home in his constituency in South Carolina. There is a real lack of statesmanship on this issue not just in Congress, but in the Executive Branch. This is him just taking any cheap excuse to play politics and pull out of CIR if he actually does this.

Don't forget some Dems may just as well vote against it. Let's hope that with the retirements, those congressmen/senators will vote for CIR without having to worry about reelection.

Those same Democrats/Republicans can ALSO vote against CIR not having to worry about relection =/
