Ditto. I used to really like him when he was the "maverick". Now he's just like all the other old white GOP guys. What a shame.

You'll always have people complaining that it's not enough.

It's symbolic if nothing else. Placates those who have been wanting border protection.

This is a very dangerous game that McCain and Co. are playing. Nothing will ever be enough for these tards. Now McCain is saying that he appreciates it but its "simply not enough." By doing so, he is just testing Washington's patience..Expect more aggression from Obama if Republicans don't do their part by cooperating with Immigration legislation!

This is a good thing. McCain loves it. This also brings us closer to Dream Act/CIR.

This is to get republicans votes for immigration reform and the dream act (that's what I would do).

1,200 troops and 500 million dollars is nothing to what needs to be done, still its the first move towards a CIR/Border protection reform.

In a speech Tuesday on the Senate floor, Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said the situation on the border has "greatly deteriorated." He called for 6,000 National Guard troops to be sent to the U.S.-Mexico border.

"I appreciate the additional 1,200 being sent ... as well as an additional $500 million, but it's simply not enough," McCain said.
So much for "small government"

If Democrats were the ones asking for additional troops, you'd have all these Republican retardos bitching about how this is a "socialist" plot to expand government.

Muslims of the world, please blow up McCain and get 20 + 1 virgins in heaven. kthnxbi
