Perhaps this is a stupid question but is the defense authorization bill next? Before this energy bill?

Man, turtles make babies faster than US Senate moves. If they had CIR proposal written on time, there would've been time to bring it to the floor. Freaking Health Care ate year from Senate time with smudging buggers against glass. Now, I hope that they will bring Dream Act to the floor. And I pray God it passes.

and leaves to wonder. if DREAM passes this year, would they let people go under both? DREAM is much harder and expensive than CIR.

Harry Reid just lay out the senate agenda for the next few weeks on the senate floor on c-span, he mention plans to pass bills from the defense authorization to resolution to honor some baseball team but not a mention about immigration.

Feels like we're being ignored from those who are supposed to be championing our cause. Congress can pigeonhole a bill until it dies, and in an awkward way, it looks like Schumer is ignoring us until we magically disappear.
