^^ That's what I saw. Lugar and Leahy, at least we have 2 co-sponsors aside from our good ol' Durbin.

Michelle Malkin--> As a FELLOW Filipino, I disown her. She doesn't belong in the Filipino community and her trying to impress the caucasian anglo-saxons in this country DON'T want her either. She's an out-cast and a disgrace! She wants her 15 min of fame by giving herself an AWEFUL name. Shame on her!

I bet her own PARENTS who are immigrant-Filipinos are ashamed to have created her!

Yesterday someone in another thread did mention Reid said something about immigration towards the end of the session.

From the transcript found at http://www.c-spanvideo.org/program/295598-1 I got:

Quote:

09:47:5621 sec.
MR. REID
I'M TOLD THAT S. 3827, INTRODUCED EARLIER TODAY BY SENATOR DODD, IS AT THE DESK AND IS DUE FOR ITS FIRST READING.
09:48:0315 sec.
THE PRESIDING OFFICER
THE CLERK WILL REPORT.
09:48:0527 sec.
THE CLERK
S. 3827, A BILL TO AMEND THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION REFORM AND IMMIGRANT RESPONSIBILITY ACT OF 1996 AND SO FORTH AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Now, my understanding was this was proposed for today's agenda (9/23) but I haven't seen it announced yet.

You can also find it here: http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-s3827/show

But there isn't much information on it at the moment.

Until I hear further from Reid about his plan to proceed the Dream Act as a stand alone bill, this news doesn't make me feel happier at all

Tell me if I begin to start sound like DA User.
We all need to be positive and optimistic. These are the attitudes that will get Dream passed.

There are other options like migrating to other countries or even going back to your home country and re-applying.
